Membership Status Change

IMPORTANT - Please read these instructions.
Please submit all cancellation or freeze requests at least 5 days prior to our next billing date (always the 1st of the month). Requests submitted fewer than 5 days before the billing day may not be processed until the following month.


I’d like to FREEZE my membership…
FREEZE means your membership is put on hold, and maintained in our system for a fee of $8 per month, per member. Select “FREEZE” on the form below if you plan to reinstate your membership sometime soon after freezing it. (Examples: Going on vacation, or need to study for finals.)
-Freeze requests must be submitted by the end of the 25th day of the month prior to the month the freeze will start.
-Freezes start on the 1st day of the following month.
-Freeze requests will not be processed if submitted before the end of the contract period (typically 120 days).
-Benefit of Freezing: Save the $95 Initiation Fee! You will not be charged an initiation fee for reinstating your frozen membership because it’s all maintained in our system.
-“Unfreezing” your membership is simple! Just check-in to Bridges while your membership is frozen and prorated dues will be automatically added to your account for the days remaining in the month.


I’d like to CANCEL my membership…
CANCEL means your membership is terminated in our system. Choose this option if you are moving away, or do not plan to reinstate your membership anytime soon.
-Cancellation requests must be submitted by the end of the 25th day of the month prior to the month you want to cancel.
-Cancellations will be effective on the 1st day of the following month. You’ve already paid for the current month so feel free to come in through the month’s end!
-Cancellation requests submitted before the contract period has passed will not be processed until the month immediately after the contract period is over.
-Cancellation notice must be submitted prior to the end of the contract period if you’d like to have prorated dues refunded for days in excess of your contract period. (Just give us a call for the refund!)

NOTE: Members who are part of a couples or family membership must complete the form for EACH member wishing to freeze or cancel.
